Mathematics

Believe it or not, we use math every day! Ross Sheppard teachers are committed to helping you achieve your personal best in math. The mathematics curriculum is designed to provide you with a foundation of knowledge, processes and problem solving strategies.

A variety of levels are offered to ensure that you are both challenged and supported as you work towards your career goals. There are also opportunities to become involved in national and international math contests and competitions.

There are three main course sequences in Mathematics: Mathematics 10C, 20-1, 30-1; Mathematics 10C, 20-2 and 30-2; and Mathematics 10-3, 20-3 and 30-3. 

Students interested in advancing their mathematical knowledge and competencies should consider the Calculus Math 31 which may be taken concurrently with Math 30-1 or upon completion thereafter.
