  • Schulich Leader Scholarship

    The Schulich Leader Scholarship Nominations are fast approaching. Every high school in Canada can nominate ONE graduating student each year to apply for the scholarship.

    Schulich Leader Scholarships are Canada’s most coveted undergraduate STEM scholarships. One hundred are awarded to entrepreneurial-minded high school graduates enrolling in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math program at 20 partner universities across Canada. Half are valued at $120,000 for engineering scholarships and half are valued at $100,000 for science and math scholarships. 

    The high school nomination deadline is January 31st
    If you would like to be considered for nomination for the Schulich scholarship, please complete this pre-screening form and submit it NO LATER than JANUARY 23, 2023.
    A Schulich Leader Nominee represents the top entrepreneurial-minded STEM student in your graduating class and in turn, becomes eligible to win a $120,000 or $100,000 scholarship. This dynamic student demonstrates:
    • Academic excellence, AND
    • Leadership, charisma and creativity.
    Strong consideration will be given to students with financial need.

    Schulich Leader Scholarships are now open. 

    Schulich Leader Scholarships are prestigious entrance scholarships awarded to high school graduates enrolling in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) programs at 20 Canadian partner universities.

    Nominees must possess:
    • Academic Excellence
    • Leadership (community, business or entrepreneurial)

    Strong consideration will be given to students with financial need.

    Exciting news: Starting now, the value of our scholarship has significantly increased! We are now awarding 50 engineering scholarships valued at $120,000 each and 50 science, technology or math scholarships valued at $100,000 each.

    Schulich Leader Scholarships is open to all Canadian high schools and cégeps with graduating students planning to pursue an undergraduate degree in an eligible STEM program at one of our 20 partner universities. Every high school in Canada may nominate one student per academic year.

    The deadline to submit your Schulich Leader Nominee is January 31, 2023.
    Please let Ms. McGowan in Student Services know by January 20, 2023, if you are interested in being nominated.  Please provide a list of your leadership accomplishments, post-secondary goals and proof of financial need if that is a factor.

  • RE/MAX 2023 Quest for Excellence Scholarship Program


    The Quest for Excellence scholarship program is a cash scholarship that recognizes students for their ongoing community contributions and pursuit of leadership.

    How to Enter:
    To apply for the Quest for Excellence scholarship, eligible students are invited to write and submit an online essay up to 1,250 words in length, answering one of the following questions:

    • What does a “bright future” look like for you?
    • How have you demonstrated leadership or charity within your community to make it a better place?
    • How can we ensure fair and affordable housing for all Canadians?

    The essays are to be submitted online from, September 12, 2022 until March 13, 2023.


    Who is Eligible?
    To qualify, participants must be a Grade 12 student attending high school in the 2022/2023 academic year, who have not previously participated in graduation commencement ceremonies in the past.

    RE/MAX Canada will review the essay submissions and award 40 scholarships, of $1,000 each, to qualifying Grade 12 students.
