Brian Fudge Memorial Scholarship-- Essay Contest
 
The National Union of Public and General Employees is offering a $2,500 scholarship for students  who are entering a field of study in policing, criminal justice, community services or health care in delivering public services to Canadians. The winner will be determined on the basis of a 750-1,000 word essay on: 
The importance of your field of study in either policing, criminal justice, community services or health care in delivering public services to Canadians. 
 
To be eligible, you must be a student entering a field of study in policing, criminal justice, community services or health care in delivering public services to Canadians and  a  child/grandchild of a current or retired member of a Component or affiliate of the National Union of Public and General Employees and are planning on entering the 1st year of a Canadaian post-secondary institution in 2020/2021. 
 
The application deadline is July 6, 2020.
